|To mark the 500th anniversary of Covent Garden the commissioning for renovations of the iconic Regal House was undertaken to incorporate a ‘living wall’. The ‘living wall’ was constructed from steel frame section holding over 8000 individual plants providing a real wow factor to anyone frequenting the adjacent Covent Garden Tube Station.
This environmentally friendly building need an environmentally friendly riser door solution to accompany the internal recycling rainwater system that required concealing and accessing. The steel riser doors are 100% recyclable and contain all natural non-combustible insulation products. Working closely with the architects and main contractors, Simplis were able to provide Christo Riser Doors which effortlessly offered concealed access and high acoustic ratings.
