70 St. Mary's Axe

70 St. Mary’s Axe places you in an area of the capital that is fast emerging as one of the most vibrant parts of an already stimulating and diverse city.

The graceful symmetry and subtle curves provide variations in floor sizes that can be tailored to suit the specific needs of each occupier. The interior design, equally striking as the impressive exterior, is complimented by the 360° panoramic glass offering some of the most enviable views in London.

The steel riser doors are 100% recyclable and contain all natural non-combustible insulation products. Working closely with the architects and main contractors, Simplis were able to provide Christo Riser Doors which effortlessly offered concealed access and high acoustic ratings.

Regal House - Covent Gardens

To mark the 500th anniversary of Covent Garden the commissioning for renovations of the iconic Regal House was undertaken to incorporate a ‘living wall’. The ‘living wall’ was constructed from steel frame section holding over 8000 individual plants providing a real wow factor to anyone frequenting the adjacent Covent Garden Tube Station.

This environmentally friendly building need an environmentally friendly riser door solution to accompany the internal recycling rainwater system that required concealing and accessing. The steel riser doors are 100% recyclable and contain all natural non-combustible insulation products. Working closely with the architects and main contractors, Simplis were able to provide Christo Riser Doors which effortlessly offered concealed access and high acoustic ratings.

The National Gallery - London

Located in the prestigious Trafalgar Square in the City of West Minster, The Nation Gallery houses an impressive collection of over 2300 paintings dating from as early as the mid-13th century. Founded in 1824 The National Gallery holds iconic pieces such as Vincent van Gough’s “Sunflowers” and Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Virgin on the Rocks”.

With such a high standard of art displayed on their wall we are proud that the doors chosen for their recent renovation were from the Simplis Christo Riser Door Range, designed to be fully concealed and not to take away from the impressive art work on display.

The Royal Hospital - Chelsea

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is the home of the iconic Chelsea Pensioners, who are all retired soldiers of the British Army. Since 1692 The Royal Chelsea Hospital has offered care and comradeship for veterans in recognition of their loyal service to the Nation.

The Royal Hospital is a Grade I and II listed site, a beautiful architectural legacy left to the society by Charles II and Sir Christopher Wren. Simplis are honoured to be able to provide discrete access through the Christo Riser Door system for the ongoing, sympathetic renovation works for the 300 plus army veterans that live on site today.
